The Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement has identified 9 measures which represent excellence in the care of a patient with diabetes. This PCPI data set is being revised as we post it to our website and that update will be published as soon as it is released. PQRI, NQF and HEDIS also have measurement sets for diabetes, each in slightly different. The most robust is the PCPI. Discussions are ongoing about having these standardized among the different agencies.
