Southeast Texas Medical Associates, LLP was founded in 1995 by James L.
Holly, M.D. and Mark A. Wilson, M.D. Their desire was to form a
group practice and design a healthcare delivery system which would integrate all of the various components of a
family's health needs in a multi-specialty setting. SETMA's founding partners took the best of the old system,
which has provided outstanding healthcare to Southeast Texas for decades, and merged it with a new technological
approach to primary healthcare delivery. SETMA is committed to maintain the health of our patients, maintain
quality of life for our patients and to do this is in a cost-effective way.

SETMA has expanded to become a true multi-specialty clinic. We have three clinical locations that are connected and
use a secure electronic medical record (EMR) system to store and access our patients' records. Our patients' records
are also available to our providers at area hospitals so that during your in-patient care our team can make accurate
decisions based on all of your historical data. Furthermore you can be confident that your records will never be lost
because we perform full backups of our system daily that are taken to a secure offsite location.
Being a patient at SETMA also means you have access to a wide range of other clinical support services. These services
include a clinical laboratory, mobile x-ray services, physical therapy department, as well as a number of Special Clinics. SETMA is continually developing new methods and technologies for insuring that all patients are given
state-of-the-art outstanding care.

SETMA's growing provider base includes Surgery, including Colon-Rectal and General,
Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Nurse Practitioners, Family Practice.
In 2005, SETMA will be joined by five new specialty areas. SETMA is proud of our providers commitment to team work and excellence.
