SETMA has structured fields in the EMR which documents the patients preferred language. SETMA has structured fields in the EMR which documents whether the patient has hearing or visual impairment. If the patient has either hearing or visual impairment and alert appears on the entrance page to the EMR so that the provider is forced to see it before each patient encounter.
After the visual and/or hearing impairment is documented on the Patient Alert template:
